10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
This section applies exclusively to residents of California and supplements all other sections of this Privacy Policy. If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA.
10.1 Your Rights
Right to Know
You have the right to request that we disclose to you:
- The categories of personal information we have collected about you
- The categories of sources from which we collected it
- Our business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing it
- The categories of third parties with whom we share it
- The specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
Right to Delete
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you. We will honor deletion requests unless an exception applies, such as when retention is necessary to: complete a transaction you requested; comply with a legal obligation; detect and prevent fraud or security incidents; exercise or defend legal claims; or for other internal uses compatible with the context in which the information was collected, as permitted under CCPA.
Right to Correct
You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature and purpose of the data.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We currently share personal information with advertising partners as described in Section 6. See Section 10.3 for opt-out instructions.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
You have the right to direct us to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to only what is necessary to perform the services you requested or as otherwise permitted under CCPA/CPRA. Our only category of sensitive personal information is payment card data, which we use solely to process your transactions. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you or for any other secondary purpose.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not:
- Deny you goods or services
- Charge you a different price or rate for goods or services
- Provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services
- Suggest that you will receive a different price or quality of goods or services
We do not offer financial incentives or price differences in exchange for the collection or retention of personal information. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide required disclosures.
10.2 How to Submit a Privacy Rights Request
To exercise your Right to Know, Right to Delete, or Right to Correct, submit a verifiable consumer request through one of the following methods:
- Email: info@vitavegecopackaging.com — use subject line: "California Privacy Rights Request"
- Contact Form: vitavegecopackaging.com/contact
- Phone: +1 (954) 727 3803 (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET)
Verification: To protect your security, we must verify your identity before processing your request. Verification typically requires you to confirm information we have on file associated with your account or a recent order (such as your email address, order number, or shipping address). We may request additional documentation in cases of elevated risk.
Response time: We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 calendar days of receipt. If we need additional time (up to 45 additional days), we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it before the initial 45-day period expires. We provide responses at no charge, up to twice per 12-month period per California resident.
Authorized agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The authorized agent must provide a signed written authorization from you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us to confirm the agent's authority. We will not require you to verify your identity if your authorized agent provides proof of power of attorney pursuant to California Probate Code Sections 4000–4465.
Online requests: When submitting a Right to Know request for specific pieces of personal information online, we will require you to pass a heightened identity verification process to protect your security.
10.3 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We share identifiers, browsing data, and advertising identifiers with advertising partners (Google, Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest) for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to opt out of this sharing.
To opt out, you may use any of the following methods:
- Cookie Preferences: Click the "Cookie Preferences" button at the bottom of any page on our Site and opt out of "Advertisement" and "Analytics" cookies. This prevents tracking pixels and advertising cookies from placing data on your device.
- Email Request: Email us at info@vitavegecopackaging.com with subject line: "Opt-Out – Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." Include your name and email address. We will process your request within 15 business days.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing under CCPA/CPRA. If your browser or browser extension is configured to send a GPC signal, we will treat it as an opt-out request when you visit our Site. Learn how to enable GPC at globalprivacycontrol.org.
- Third-Party Opt-Outs: You may also opt out directly through our advertising partners:
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Meta/Facebook: facebook.com/ads/preferences
- LinkedIn: LinkedIn Ad Settings

- Digital Advertising Alliance (opt out of multiple networks at once): optout.aboutads.info
Note: After opting out, you may continue to see ads from Vitaveg on other platforms, but those ads will not be personalized based on your browsing behavior on our Site. Opting out of cookies on our Site does not remove ads already served or undo tracking that occurred prior to your opt-out.
10.4 California "Shine the Light" Disclosure (Civil Code § 1798.83)
California residents may request, once per calendar year, information about personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year.
